WHAT’s in plan?

Morocco is a wonderful place where you can experience a wide variety of different sceneries of nature in the shortest time without traveling too much - mountains, deserts, exotic cities and villages. Plus wonderful sandy beaches and especially good surfing. This is what we plan to experience for ourselves - during the first half of the trip, we will devote ourselves to the Atlas Mountains, the desert, Bedouin life and beautiful scenery. Second part of the trip we spend most of our time surfing the beaches around Essauera. By the way, no previous skill is required, we have our own surf teacher Eerik Luka and a local teacher.

In addition to the above, we also look deeper into ourselves - engaging in firefly conversations about deep issues in life, meditating and creating a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us.

The weather that will send us, will most likely be pleasantly warm.

Plan in more detail:  

26.10 our adventure begins with a gathering in Marrakech. We will spend the first night in hotel and move on to the desert on 27.11.

Sahara Desert and Atlas Mountains - 6 days.

We leave Marrakech in the morning, crossing Tizi-n-Ticha (height 2260 m), the road is nicely winding and is known for its enchanting views. We stay overnight at the hotel on the way and the next day we arrive at the desert. In desert first night we spend in the tents in real desert, to where we hike with camels. Second night at the hotel by the desert (unless we decide to stay in the desert for another night ). After desert adventure we will drive to the Atlas Mountains, where we spend the next 2 days hiking in the hills. It's a tremendously beautiful place. We stay in hotels in the mountains.

Essauera 1.11 - 7.11 - 7 days.

Essaouira is a little city with its roots dating back to centuries BC. With its authenticity and funky vibe, the city is very popular within backpackers and creative people. The Old Town, or the medina, offers a cozy atmosphere, between its walls, small cafes and art galleries. Essaouira is also known for its seafood restaurants, many musicians in the city and lots of local live music. However, as you step out of the city walls of the Medina, you will find yourself on a seemingly endless sandy beach. A wonderful place to enjoy life.

What shall we do in Essauera?

We rest, enjoy the ocean, local cuisine, music, good food. and authentic company. Surfing (surfboard) trainings are planned during the day. They take place on different picturesque beaches near Essauera (Sidi kaouki, Imssouane, Tafedna, Moulay). We have on-site equipment, skills and talented trainers.

In Essauera we live in a cozy romantic Moroccan compound. We may also go to stay in the south surfing paradises for a couple of days. It depends on the weather and the movement of water.

PRACTICAL SIDE:

The adventure begins on 26.10.2019 with a gathering in Marrakech, please organise your own transport to there. We leave at 27.10 in the morning.

End of the journey: morning of 8.11.2019 in Marrakech.

Payment conditions: 1/2 of the price with reservation and the second 1/2 latest by 10.10.

MEET OUR MAIN GUIDES:

Joonas Saks is a free-thinking, unconventional man with a rich biography. He is an yogi, philosopher, educator and a healer. Enjoys reading all kinds of exciting "uhuu" literature and share his explorations, loves to write poetry and travel the world. He is also passionate reformist who likes to think and act in a so-called. out of the box way. His witty mind, humorous and bold self-expression add colorful tones to our adventure. Joonases main task is to keep us in control - make sure that we also notice to really rest from the contet of our minds, enjoy the simplicity of life and make us wonder about inspirational topics throughout our activities.

Eerik Luka is a man with a great sense of well-being. Like Joonas, he has a very rich biography - entrepreneur, philosopher, travel junky, surf king and much more. Undoubtedly a great inspiration with his stories and ways. Eric has spent a lot of time in Morocco as one of his biggest passions is surfing and sailing. As a teacher in these areas, he has been around for most of his life. Eerik has previously made nine group trips to Marocco. Quite a lot of people have gotten their surfing fever from the surf trips he has organized.

We make these trips above all to enjoy the places we go to. They are our own favorites, that have captured our hearts. Morocco gives you the opportunity to enjoy our three favorites together - meditation in nature, hiking and surfing in the mountains.

Surfing is a meditative and at the same time really enjoyable sporting activity. We try to do this good thing at least once a year and Morocco is one of the best places to do it. Morocco has a very special vibe, especially the city of Essauera with its magic. It is so nice to enjoy the wondering around streets, cozy evenings in authetic restaurants and admire simplicity and magic of Moroccan everyday life.
